Leioceras is a genus of extinct ammonites, marine mollusks that existed during the Middle Jurassic period. Specimens from Dorset, England, particularly the Jurassic Coast, are well-known. These ammonites typically feature smooth, involute shells with a compressed and moderately involute shape, displaying fine ribbing and sometimes slight tubercles. The genus is notable for its stratigraphic importance, helping to date the Middle Jurassic sediments where they are found.
